It's boring, repetitive and little challenging. Finding shops is incredibly hard, which probably doesn't matter cause the prices are positively ridiculous.

There are way, way to many random encounters. Little variation of enemies, few options of character customization and why can't I drink potions and use healing spells outside combat?

The controls are often unresponsive. Often relies on simple puzzles early in the level and difficult ones on the end. Forcing you to repeat easy but time consuming puzzles over and over again.

The second time I played, not only were not nearly enough health potion sellers, there was only a single trainer in the whole ascension!

When I arrived at the final boss (with no health potions). Victory was quite impossible.

The random nature of events needs work...
